Jewish Traditional Objects

Worship at Congregation Albert takes many forms. It is our goal to provide a wide variety of worship opportunities where everyone can feel welcome in our spiritual community.

Prayer is a language that each of us speaks and hears in a different way. When we pray together, we try to find our own meaning within the chorus of diverse voices. With meaningful prayers, engaging sermons and stimulating teachings, Rabbi Rosenfeld shows us how the lessons from the past are relevant to our lives today. In an atmosphere of congregational participation Cantor Finn inspires us to engage in prayer through singing and learning motivated by engaging music.

Through a wide range of truly meaningful spiritual experiences, we offer something for everyone, including Weekly Erev Shabbat (Friday Night) Services and Shabbat Morning Services on Saturday, our Friday morning Tot Shabbat experience, Family oriented Shabbat services, Musical Shabbat & Festival Services and Summer Outdoor Services.

Our services are fully egalitarian (men and women participate equally).

We are committed to a balance between traditional and creative using both Hebrew and English texts designed to encourage ease and comfort in the participation of all prayers as well as both traditional and contemporary melodies.
