Babka Bake

No, the babka will not be pink. 

Sharsheret is a Jewish nonprofit organization which provides personalized support, lifesaving education, financial assistance and genetic counseling to empower those faced with or at increased genetic risk of breast cancer.

Sharsheret is the Jewish community's response to breast cancer and the only national organization addressing the unique concerns of Jewish women and families facing breast cancer and ovarian cancer. One in 40 Jews of Ashkenazi descent carries an increased risk of developing breast, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, melanoma and male breast cancer.

Congregation Albert is raising funds for the vital education and support that Sharsheret provides by hosting a PINK BABKA BAKE on February 11, 2026, Sharsheret's Breast Cancer Awareness Day. 

COME LEARN HOW TO BAKE BABKA WITH US!!!!

We will also hear from some of our community's breast cancer survivors, and learn some about screening, detection, and the support Sharsheret provides.
