Congregation Albert’s mission includes a commitment to the education and mentorship of Jewish children and their families to enable them to celebrate and observe Judaism. We strive to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people l’dor v’dor (from generation to generation) as we teach our students the importance of God and Torah as well as Jewish religious practice and prayers, holidays and customs, history and the language of our people as expressed in prayer and Torah. We encourage and cultivate a lifelong Jewish culture of philanthropy and respect for others that will foster an awareness of the fact that we are created b’zelem Elohim (in the image of God).

Jewish learning takes place in a variety of settings. The classroom is only one aspect of what it means to be a part of our school. We also strive to help our students interact with one another in a variety of fun and challenging settings. In this way we promote the values of “connectedness” and “community” among Jews.

We offer weekly classes on Sundays from 9:30 to noon for Toddlers to 6th grade. These classes cover Judaics and Hebrew.

4th – 6th grade also attend classes on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7 PM to learn Prayerbook Hebrew. We now offer a voluntary Third Grade Hebrew option on Wednesdays as well as Hebrew Tutoring and Homework Help.

A variety of Family Education offerings are built in throughout the year.

Please check the links for the school calendar, registration materials and detailed information about each offering or contact the Director of Lifelong Learning, Tammy Kaiser, at education@congregationalbert.org or the Education office at 505 883-0306.
