Update on TASTY - February 2006

TASTY, our teen youth group, has been busy these last few months. We started out with our annual Yom Kipper Food Drive where thanks to your generosity we were able to donate almost 1300 pounds of food to JFS. TASTY helped cook Thanksgiving dinner for the Barrett House with the Junior Youth Groups and run their Chanukah party. Our fundraising events helped us buy toys, diapers, books, kitchenware and other things on Cuidando Los Ninos's wish list for the holidays, for which they were very grateful. We also made chicken soup for the Caring Committee.

We meet the first Friday of the month for services, dinner and a movie or game night. The third Wednesday of the month we meet for dinner and a schmooze before Machon. We have a topic for discussion, eat and just hang out and relax with our friends. We have also been to three out of town programs, and had a great time ice skating with the Santa Fe youth group.
