From the Early Childhood Center
Happy February from the Early Childhood Center! Staff and children returned to school renewed and energized for the second semester. We have welcomed some new students who have already blended in perfectly and we look forward to having many guests visiting our school as we prepare to register, already, for the 2006-2007 school year. Early registration for congregants will begin March 1. Pass the word!
A new cycle of Kindergym classes is set to begin on Tuesday, February 7. Click here to see the notice.
In place of our regular February staff meeting, we will welcome guest speaker Dr. Marylou Mendenhall on the topic "Reframing Discipline: new ways of understanding difficult behaviors." We are opening this workshop to parents and teachers alike. Please RSVP to Bonnie Joy if you are interested in joining us.
I would like to extend thanks to all of you who helped make our December fundraisers so successful. Our candle sales and our night at Sweet Tomatoes were fun and great ways to add revenue to the program. We look forward to starting a hot lunch fundraiser this month, thanks to our ECC fundraising subcommittee.
Shalom from Bonnie Joy Evnetzky and the entire E.C.C. Staff
