From the Early Childhood Center

The last few weeks have been full of celebration for the staff and children of the Early Childhood Center. We held a lovely Playground Dedication ceremony on Friday, September 30 and  celebrated  our annual Rosh Hashanah Open House on Monday, October 3. Both were well attended, joyous events. It was especially gratifying to see so many of our new families in attendance at both family services and our wonderful Rosh Hashanah service in the mountains. Students have also made smooth transitions to their new environments and schedules, thanks to our staff. What a great start to the year.

A joint learning opportunity for parents and staff will replace our regular staff meeting, Thursday, November 10 at 6 pm. We will host a workshop by a representative of Albuquerque Public School's Child Find Program. Her presentation will focus on how to identify pre-schoolers with special needs and also on what services are available for them. It should be a valuable session. Please RSVP to Bonnie if you would like to join us.

 This month we start our great Kindergym program for parents and toddlers, at 10:30 on Tuesday mornings. Feel free to call Bonnie or Lisa Wade to reserve a spot.

Smith's Earn & Learn

It's time to reenroll in the Smith's Earn & Learn Program.

Cards issued over the past year will soon expire. It's now time to reenroll in this program, which helps our school immensely. Our school earned close to $500 from this program, just because you purchased groceries! When you use your Fresh Values Card, Smith's donates up to 5% of your total purchases to our school. Please re-enroll TODAY!
