Shalom! My name is Samantha Sheppard and I am a seventh grade student at Albuquerque Academy, where I am active in many sports. I look forward to sharing this very special day with my family and friends. I will read from the Torah portion Naso. For my Mitzvah project, I have composed a resource book to help others create their own Mitzvah projects, which will be dedicated to Congregation Albert, Rabbi Black and Cantor Finn. Shalom. My name is Zachary Aaron Schwartz. This fall I will be entering eighth grade at Desert Ridge Middle School. I participate in Congregation Albert Student Theatre, where this past year I played Mordecai in the Purim Shpeil. I have been a member of Student Council for the past two years at Desert Ridge. I also enjoy playing baseball, soccer and golf, as well as playing video games and being with my friends. For my Mitzvah Project, I have volunteered to lead Shabbat services at the Shalom House, where we even had a mock Seder this past April. Hello! My name is Jordan Elizabeth Silverman and I am a seventh grader at Albuquerque Academy. I ski race for the Taos Ski Academy, dance and play tennis. I also enjoy going to Environmental Club, math and photography. For my Mitzvah Project I will make a scrapbook about the Shalom House residents.
