School News - February 2005

From the E.C.C. Committee

The ECC Committee is off to a great year! We are excited about the continued success of the preschool and the Kindergarten. We continually receive praise from parents about the high quality of our preschool and Kindergarten.

Be on the lookout for our marketing efforts for our Preschool and Kindergarten. We have a new sign, we are hosting open houses, publishing articles in the Bulletin, designing new advertisements and we will soon have a new WEB page. Please tell your friends about the ECC, attend our open houses, or just drop by to see the school in action.

We are delighted that Kindergym has started up again; it is a great program for the youngest children. And we are very pleased that the Kindergarten, taught by Dale Cooperman, will be offered again next year. This year we are the only stand-alone Jewish kindergarten in Albuquerque and we are very proud of the exceptional educational and social experience Dale provides to the children.

Cantor Finn is overseeing the ECC and we are truly appreciative of her support and guidance to the ECC and the Committee.

You will hear more from us as we build on the work of last year's committee and focus on the playground, including the fence, a shade structure and new playground equipment.

B'shalom,
Bronnie Blaugrund and Karen Kahn
