Special Event - December 2004

On January 28, 29, and 30, Congregation Albert will host a musical weekend celebrating the installation of Cantor Barbara R. Finn.

Friday night, Rabbi Daniel Freelander, Vice President of the Union for Reform Judaism, will install Cantor Finn. The services will highlight Cantor Finn's passionate singing, and will include musical contributions by Rabbi Joe Black, guest performer, Julie Silver, Congregation Albert's Choir, Zamir, and the B'nai Israel Choir. Saturday's events will kick off with Rabbi Freelander teaching morning Torah study.

On Saturday evening there will be dinner followed by Havdalah and a concert featuring performances by Julie Silver, Cantor Finn, and Rabbi Black. Sunday morning, Religious School Family Worship will feature a family concert by Julie Silver to honor Cantor Finn. We hope that everyone will join in celebrating Cantor Finn's installation.
