Upcoming programs include:Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. _ Paid up Membership Dinner featuring a beautiful fashion show provided by Viola's. This event is complimentary for all Sisterhood members in good standing as our thank you for your support.
Thursday, November 18 at 11:45 a.m. _ Monthly Sisterhood luncheon and book review of "The Clovis Incident" by author and Temple member Pari Noskin-Taichert.
Thursday, December 16 at 11:45 a.m. _ We will host the joint luncheon with the Sisterhood of Congregation B'nai Israel. Entertainment will be provided by Musical Theater Southwest.
Please join us at these and other events. It is a wonderful way to meet new friends and to find out why our Sisterhood is indeed the heart of our congregation. Reservations and information are available by calling Arlene Paglia or Henri Courtnage.
We would also like to remind all of you of the power of your VOTE this upcoming November. Your vote counts! This is an election that is critical on so many issues that are important to women. It is important to elect leaders and representatives who respect, support, and promote issues that WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism) has defined in its resolutions as critical issues, including stem cell research and reproductive rights. (Access to these resolutions are available on the WRJ website.)
Chag Sameach to all of you, and may your sukkah be a sukkat shalom filled with peace and happiness.
Linda Hayon and Marina Rabinowitz, co-presidents
