Brotherhood News - November 2002
Brotherhood Breakfast

10:00 A.M.
in the Social Hall at Congregation Albert
What happened in the general election and why? What were the political issues and voter impressions that ultimately led to candidate victories and defeats? Is New Mexico headed in a new direction along with the rest of the country?
Three keen observers of the political scene - Bill Hume, editorial page editor of the Albuquerque Journal, Dick Knipfing, news anchor on KRQE-TV, Channel 13, and Brian Sanderoff, president of Research and Polling - will provide insights and field audience questions during the November 17 monthly brunch sponsored by Congregation Albert Brotherhood. It will be the second appearance for the trio, who provided a similar election post mortem in November 2000. The popular program drew a large crowd and is expected to do the same this time around, so early reservations are suggested.
The brunch will begin at 10 a.m. in the Social Hall of Congregation Albert. The cost is $6 for Brotherhood members and $8 for all others.
Reservations will be taken by the Brotherhood Calling Committee the week prior to the brunch. Reservations can also be made via E-mail at Brotherhood_at_ca.
In addition, a recorded Brotherhood Response Line has recently been set up for people to hear the latest program information and to leave reservation information. That number is 883-1818, ext. 3203. Reservations need to be made no later than Nov. 14. We look forward to seeing you all there.
