From the President - January 2002

Our largest yearly fundraiser for the Congregation is the annual Golf Tournament.

Last year, we joined with the Jewish Community Center and had a wonderful event at the Paako Golf Course. We had 144 golfers participate and many large and small companies joined as corporate sponsors. We did very well financially and we split the net proceeds with the JCC. We are now in the planning stages for the next tournament in May, 2002.

We want the 2002 tournament to be very successful and we really need your help. We need you to volunteer and be part of the fundraising process and committee.

Every one knows a realtor, a doctor, a restaurant, a business, corporation or individual who would love to contribute and be a part of a first rate golf tournament.

We have fun at our meetings and we share ideas, letters, and ways to raise the funds that are so vital to the financial health of our congregation. It is also a great opportunity for businesses and individuals to become visible to the members of our congregation and to show their support.

I am asking you to please help and call, e-mail or tell me that you will help and become a member of the committee. You can also call the office and let Judy know that
you are interested.
