Brotherhood Breakfast - October 2000

Brotherhood Breakfast

Sunday, October 15, 2000 at 9:30 A.M.
in the Social Hall at Congregation Albert

First Congressional District Candidate Forum

Please join us on October 15 as Candidates for New Mexico's 1st Congressional District will participate in a themed forum during the Congregation Albert Brotherhood Brunch.

Once again, the Jewish Community Relations Council
will co-sponsor this event.

All three major party candidates will participate in this forum: incumbent Republican Heather Wilson will meet with Democratic challenger John Kelly and Green Party candidate Dan Kerlinsky.

At this event, discussion will focus on foreign policy, particularly American and Israeli relations, plus crime and gun control. Questions on other topics may be entertained toward the end if time permits.

The Brotherhood brunch is open to the public. The cost is $6 for Brotherhood members and their guests, and $8 for all others. Because of the large number of people that are expected to attend, reservations must be made no later than Wednesday, October 11.

If you have not received a phone call or E-mail by Wednesday, October 11 to take a reservation for the brunch, please call Brotherhood President Shelly Liebman at 332-1281. You can also reserve space by sending an E-mail message to Brotherhood@CongregationAlbert.org.
