Board of Trustees Meetings - May and June, 2000

Resolutions Passed: (complete copies available upon request)

• Food Policy for Personal Consumption: respecting the sensibilities of others, pork and shellfish should not be brought into the Temple.
• Cemetery Policies: Rewritten Cemetery Rules, as submitted by the Cemetery Committee, were passed. These amend and replace portions of the by-laws. Purchase agreements will clearly state relevant information. (Note: changes have minimal retroactive impact)

Cemetery Committee:

The Board of Trustees applauds the organizational initiative of Susan Zeman, the expertise of Les Rivlin and final efforts of Allan Levine, along with the dedication and involvement of the other members of the Cemetery Committee in completing the revised Cemetery Policies.

For "A Higher Ground":

Board expresses enthusiastic appreciation to Gwenn Robinson and Paige Abrams for giving of their time, and for the wonderful job, done by them, and by all those who participated in the youth performance of "A Higher Ground".

For the Golf Tournament:

The Board of Trustees thanks David Goldstein and Tom Ashe for a phenomenal amount of work leading to the success (and beautiful weather) of the golf tournament.

For handicap ramps:

The Board wishes to thank Sylvia and Jerry Goffe for identifying the need for handicap ramps from our parking lot to the main entrance and for arranging with Jaynes Corporation to donate the installation. - Our Seniors especially noticed the improvement.

We greatly appreciate Jaynes' contribution!

We thank the office staff and volunteers for filling in so well during Judy's absence.
