Our Presidents Are Missing

The Archives Committee is currently in the process of redoing the photo gallery of Past Congregation Presidents to include as many individuals as possible. These photographs will be displayed on the west wall of the Social Hall as soon as we are able to complete our search. We have been fortunate in that we have been able to obtain photographs of many Past Presidents, including our first, Henry Jaffa (1897-1901). Unfortunately, we are still missing a few individuals who served our congregation.

If you have photographs of any of the missing Presidents, please lend or donate them to the Archives Committee so that our history will be as complete as possible. 8" X 10" is the most desirable format, but we will gladly reformat any photos that you make available. You can leave them at the office or contact Judy Weinreb.

The following people are not in our photo archive:

• Berthold Spitz (1902 & 1908-1912)
• Louis Ilfeld (1903-1904)
• Simon Stern (1903)
• David Weinman (1904-1905)
• David Rosenwald (1906-1907)
• Samuel Neustadt (1907-1908)
• Mike Mandell (1924)
• Albert Stern (1925)
• Sidney Rosenwald (1930-1931)
• Irving Seligman (1959-1960)

We have several blank spots in our history (no minutes, no records). If anyone remembers the presidents for the following years, we would be grateful for your help: 1913-1920, 1922, 1926-1927
