Yad B'yad, Hebrew for "Hand in Hand," is a non-proselytizing Christian organization that stands in solidarity with the people of Israel and raises awareness and advocates in support of issues that are critical to the Jewish community. The organization participates in raising funds for distressed Jews immigrating and resettling in Israel, and for other important Jewish charitable endeavors.
John Sandager is chief executive officer of the First Financial Trust Co. and Santa Fe Trust. He is also an attorney specializing in estate planning. He sits on the boards of the New Mexico Boys Ranch and the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra.
Susan Sandager is a wife and mother and is involved in community volunteer work. She is also a member of the board of Hadassah.
The Sandagers, both members of the Hoffmantown Church, started Yad B'yad about five years ago.
The cost for the October brunch is: $6 for members and their guests, and $8 for all others.
If you have not already renewed your membership in the Congregation Albert Brotherhood for 1999-2000, this breakfast provides a perfect opportunity. Currently, CAB dues are: $25 per year.
