A Kol Nidre Fund Appeal
A clear message from the recent Long Range Planning Process was your desire for a lifetime of quality education at Congregation Albert from early childhood to adult education. You told us that Jewish education that engages and stimulates temple members of all ages is of the utmost importance to you. To move this dream to reality requires a commitment of both time and money. To this end we have dedicated this year's Kol Nidre Fund Appeal to Quality Education from Childhood to Adult Education.
Quality education includes:
Preschool and religious school students learning to love - and loving to learn - about Judaism;
Quality education also includes staff and facilities that encourage learning, such as innovative and informed preschool and religious school teachers, a lounge area for small group classes, and up-to-date library resources.
To pay for scholarships, necessary furniture, books and materials, along with scholars-in-residence, stimulating speakers, the added costs of keeping our building open, secure and clean, costs more than we could have possible put in our balanced budget. To pay for a lifetime of quality education that we all envision for our congregation will take the generous support of all of us. Your response to last year's Kol Nidre Fund Appeal was wonderful and most generous. I ask that you be equally as generous this year.
As we enter this holiest of days for our people, my family and I wish all of you a good and sweet New Year.
B'Shalom,
Karen Kahn
