Glenda's Retirement Weekend - May 1999

The Glenda Committee is pleased to have the opportunity to plan a weekend in celebration, love, and good wishes as Glenda Orchant retires after 18 years as the Director of Education at Congregation Albert.

Members of the congregation are invited to share as we join in appreciation of her years of service with worship, honors and retrospective. If you have not already made reservations for these events, please do so today. It is our chance to share with Glenda all the warmth she has shared with us.

The Glenda Orchant Scholarship Fund is being established for children and families who might not otherwise be able to participate in the Temple’s educational activities. Some areas the scholarship will help fund are; Religious/Hebrew School, Family Camp, 7th Grade Los Angeles trip and Camp Oranim.

If you would like to donate to the Glenda Orchant Scholarship Fund, please send your donations to the Congregation Albert Office. If you wish to donate by credit card, you can visit the Funds page on this site.

If you have not yet completed last month’s lavender "Glenda Insert", your help would be appreciated, so that the committee can plan for the event. Call Janet Ehrlich, or Frances Farrah during preschool hours at 883-0306 if you have questions.

(Glenda and family share in the honors, special Kiddush sponsored by the Sisterhood and Brotherhood.)

Saturday Evening desserts and Jewish Cabaret:
A sharing of memories and music.
(This event is by reservation only. $18 per person charge)

Sunday, May 9th:
Religious School special celebration
