Outreach Committee - May 1999

The Congregation Albert Outreach Committee has scheduled its monthly discussion group for Sunday, May 9th, 1999 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Temple. This discussion group is geared toward Jews by Choice/Converts, Interfaith Couples and anyone with related issues and interests. Members of the Outreach Committee will facilitate discussion based on the participants concerns, issues and questions. The informal dialogue is meant to stimulate thought, raise questions and share common problems and solutions.

Our program on May 9th will be "How Anti-Semitism Affects Jews by Choice and/or Members of Interfaith Families." Other issues introduced by participants will be discussed. Please consider joining us. Everyone is welcome.

Coffee, juice and bagels will be served. (Bagels and cream cheese provided courtesy of New York House of Bagels.)

At the February group meeting, we developed an outstanding Outreach Reading List. Anyone who would like a copy of this list, please contact Outreach through the Temple office.

For more information, if you would like to be on our mailing list, or to make child care reservations for May 9th, please call Diana Paul.

We request that childcare reservations be made by Thursday, May 6th.

Note: There will be no Outreach Discussion Group at the Temple in June, July, and August. If the group is interested in meeting over the summer we may pick an alternate location.

Diana Paul,
Outreach Committee
