Congregation Albert Circle Program - March 1999

Honoring those who have honored us with their generosity

Shalom Chaverim,

Performing acts of loving kindness is a Jewish tradition. We refer to each act as a mitzvah. One way to perform such an act of loving kindness is to financially support the temple with dues. Pledging more than the actual cost to maintain a household allows us to welcome all who wish to affiliate, regardless of their ability to meet the basic cost of membership. This too is a mitzvah.

The purpose of this booklet is to publicly thank those congregants who have honored us by their exceptional financial commitment to Congregation Albert. Two years ago, we accepted the concept of acknowledging the financial generosity of our members by establishing The Circles Program. This program recognizes members who give generously during our fiscal year, which begins July 1^st.

There are two pledge circles - Guardian and Pillar. The following are brief descriptions of each circle:

	The Guardian Circle acknowledges those who have pledged $3,000.00 or more this year, or at least $250.00 a month.
	The Pillar Circle includes those who pledged between $1,500.00 and $2,999.00 this year, which ranges between $125.00 and $249.00 a month.

Please join me in saying thank you to all pledge circle members. I hope that next year’s Circle Program will be even more successful and even more members who have been active and supportive of our congregation can be acknowledged.
