February Brotherhood Breakfast

Sunday, February 21, 1999 at 10:00 am in the Social Hall at Congregation Albert

Guest speaker David Steinberg, the book editor and an arts writer for the Albuquerque Journal, will speak on "Jews, God and Literature" during the Feb. 21 brunch sponsored by the Congregation Albert Brotherhood.

Steinberg has worked for the Albuquerque Journal for 25 years, but has been a journalist for 35 years. During his career, Steinberg has worked for several newspapers in Florida, was a staff writer for the Associated Press in New Orleans, and has worked as a stringer for the New York Times and Time magazine. Steinberg was born in New Jersey and was raised there and in Florida.

He received his BA degree in International Relations from American University in Washington D.C. and taught school for a while in Costa Rica.

The Sunday brunch starts at 10 a.m. in the social hall at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana NE.

The cost is $5 for members and their guests, and $6 for all others.
