From the Early Childhood Center - February 1999

The first half of our school year has flown by! It culminated with a lovely Chanukah party which was attended by close to 200 hearty latke-eaters.

As always, February brings an early opportunity for congregants to register for the 1999-2000 pre-school year. We will begin accepting registrations on Monday, February 8th for our 2 year-old class, 3 & 4 year-old combination class and pre- kindergarten. Unfortunately, our Kindergarten program will not be offered for the 1999-2000 school year. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Margo Danoff, who has been such a positive force in the Early Childhood Center for these past three years. We continue, however, to offer varied scheduling options with child care available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The relocation of several families also leaves us with a few mid-year openings. We can currently accept children who are turning 2 years old as well as a few older students for the current semester of this school year.

Also at this time we are planning our next Kindergym sessions. This popular parents & toddler group will begin within the next few weeks and all interested families should call at this time.

It’s a busy month in our early childhood center and I hope to speak to many new friends regarding your future plans.

B’Shalom,
Bonnie Evnetzky
