Elizabeth Selma Cohen Memorial Prize - December 1998
We are pleased to announce the Third Annual Elizabeth Selma Cohen Memorial Prize. The prize will be awarded to an outstanding 10th or llth Grader who has demonstrated a commitment to Congregation Albert and the Jewish Community. The prize consists of an all-expense paid summer trip to Israel that is either sponsored by the Reform movement or promotes Reform Jewish values. Upon returning from Israel, winners of the prize will be expected to share what they have learned in our religious school and related youth programs.
Applications for this prestigious prize are available in the Temple Office. All applicants will be required to submit and essay and go through an interview with the prize committee. For more iinformation, contact Rabbi Black.
