Resolutions Passed:

1) a resolution thanking volunteer religious school aides with letters to each:
It being noted that the current budget eliminated pay for students who serve as aides, there was concern classes would be without their assistance. In fact, most 1997-8 teenage aides returned, & more volunteered. Passed unanimously with enthusiasm.

2) The following families were accepted for membership:
Darlene & Paul Gladysz, Nancy & David Flynn, Wendy Wells & Ralph Moller, Leslie & Ivan Goldwasser, Ann Ramenofsky, Jeanne & Sidney Steinberg, Gary & Kathy Singer, Art Gardenswartz, Bruce & Maxine Jennings, Jonathan & Donna Lisansky, Lisa & Greg Fallisk, Sorin & Gabi Istrail, Bill & Angle Schimberg, Lisa & David Zenner, Nina Forest & Jeff Blair

Other Notes of Interest:

1) The temple air conditioning system, which is run by a computer chip, will experience Year 2000 problems.

2) Enrollment at the Temple's Early Childhood Center (preschool, Kindergarten) is under budget projections. Cost-cutting and fundraisers are under way to compensate for the lower revenue.
